Hello!
My name is Maimuna (Bobo) Jallow and I am the founder of In Bloom. I created In Bloom when I was amid an unexpected event that tilted the foundation of my world. While enveloped in my angst, sadness and hurt, I kept telling myself that “this moment will pass”. And it did. My experience moved me to create a brand to motivate women and girls to know that unpleasant moments in life are mostly just that, moments.
The belief that I am still In Bloom and that my roots are still firmly planted helped me move past those circumstances. In Bloom exists to remind me and you that nothing is permanent; difficult moments will pass. Our hope is that our products serve as a constant reminder that we can transform tough experiences into blessings. Bad things didn’t happen to you, it happened for you to evolve, become stronger and bloom!
Becoming BoboInBloom
In Bloom is the result of struggle turned into strength. While facing the most challenging test in my adult life, I started to think about how I could help other women and girls who are experiencing valley moments. How I emerged from where I was and ended up running towards my dreams was remarkable to say the least; “bobinbloom” was born.
I was determined to find a way to share my experience and encouragement with other women. The idea to create bracelets as a visual reminder to women and girls that they are still in bloom emerged. Creating the bracelets became my obsession and my strong desire to help other women became my passion. I became engrossed in creating an affordable and beautifully designed product that delivers quality and value while serving its purpose to inspire.
